Confirmation Class

Youth Center; Advance registration is required.

When they presented their child or godchild for Holy Baptism, parents and godparents made commitments to raise that child in faith in Christ. As those children grow towards young adulthood, the Church offers them an opportunity through confirmation to “express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop” (BCP, p. 860). To prepare for confirmation during the Bishop’s visitation, our youth will meet together in classes to review the Church's teachings about God and their relationship with God, about how the Church came to be and now exists, and to better understand the commitment they making in confirmation. Due to the Bishop's visit in March 2019, a new youth confirmation class will be offered sometime during or after Fall 2019.
