St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is a community of faith anchored in traditional Anglican theology and liturgy as set forth in the Book of Common Prayer.  Founded in 1922, St. Mark’s is one of the largest churches in the Diocese of Florida.  The neighborhood church maintains a healthy balance of long-time generational members combined with those who are new to the Jacksonville community.

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here.  We hope you find our congregation to be warm and hospitable, and that by visiting us you’ll feel drawn more closely toward the grace and love of God as revealed in Jesus Christ our Savior.  Welcome!

The Rev. Thomas P. Murray
Seventh Rector of St. Mark’s

Lessons and Carols is a beautiful tradition dating back to 1918 at King’s College, Cambridge. Join us for this lovely, candlelight service featuring beautiful readings, carols, and other music that retell the story of our christian faith from Genesis through the Word made flesh and beyond. Following the service, stay for a delicious Christmas dinner in Leatherbury Hall. Please RSVP for the dinner by clicking here so we have enough food for everyone who attends!
