Holy Week at St. Mark's

Holy Week is the most sacred time in the Christian calendar. It is a journey that begins with celebration, moves through reflection and remembrance, and culminates in the joy and hope of Easter morning. At St. Mark’s, we invite you, your family, and your friends to walk through this meaningful week with us as we remember Christ’s love and celebrate the promise of resurrection.

Below is our full schedule of services and special events.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week and commemorates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Join us as we celebrate with worship, fellowship, and fun for families.

Palm Sunday Family Fun
Between the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services, stop by to enjoy a Petting Zoo and spend time with family and friends as we celebrate the start of Holy Week together.

Throughout Holy Week, we invite you to spend time in prayer and reflection through the Stations of the Cross, remembering Jesus’ journey to the cross.

7 p.m. – Service

Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper and Jesus’ commandment to love one another. This meaningful service includes Holy Communion and invites us into a time of reflection as Holy Week continues.

12 p.m. – Traditional Good Friday Liturgy*
7 p.m. – Contemporary Good Friday Tenebrae Service*

Good Friday is a solemn day when we remember Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Through scripture, prayer, and worship, we reflect on the depth of God’s love.

Celebrate the joy of the resurrection with us on Easter morning.

6:30 a.m. – Sunrise Service

Between the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services, families are invited to join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Be sure to stop by the Bunny Buffet for Easter-themed treats and fellowship.
